As many of you know, I made a new car viewer for NR2003. The Alpha was released a few weeks back. I've severely neglected to update this site with the info or any signs that I am still doing stuff. I'm good at that, lol. Below you'll find my original release video and a link to the program. It currently only has 3 mods, MENCS19, NXS20, and CWS15. I do plan on adding more in the future.

Since the original release, I have been busting my ass trying to make a new update. The next update will be full of new features. Unfortunately it won't include any new mods, that will wait till the update after. The next build will be upgraded to the Beta stage. I've done enough testing on my computer to feel comfortable changing the status. Some people have reported issues of a black screen, that's not something I know how to fix. Hell, I don't even know what the minimum requirements are for it to work. The viewer is being made in Unreal Engine 4. So a starting point to know if your computer will run it is see if you can run any other game based Unreal Engine 4. The minimum specs for a game like Fortnite are,

Minimum specifications

  • Intel HD 4000 on PC; Intel Iris Pro 5200
  • Core i3-3225 3.3 GHz
  • 4 GB RAM
  • Windows 7/8/10 64-bit

I'll assume similar specs will apply to the car viewer. That could change in the future though. Now as far as the next update... Here's a list of what I'm planning on.

New Build Will Include (Hopefully)

  • New UI Experience
  • Users no longer required to use "card.png". Any file name is now permittable.
  • Post processing features including contrast, saturation, gamma, exposure, vignette, bloom, lens flare, and depth of field. User will also have ability to save settings for the next time you run the program.
  • Ability to change rim color (select mods only).
  • Ability to adjust vehicle paint roughness which in turn allows for matte paints.
  • New cameras. Users can now use a classic NR2003 CarView camera control or choose the free camera.

I have no timetable for this. I'm learning as I go and the next update will be released whenever I feel it's ready. It could be a day from now, a month from now, I just don't know. Things are progressing well and I'm getting a lot of issues that had persisted finally solved. Even though the update won't have new mods, I'm still sure you'll appreciate the updates.
